For the next 3 weeks we will be focusing on drawing people from observation.
The easiest way to obtain this level of confidence and draftsmanship is to get an understanding of what you are drawing, especial the proportions of the human figure.

STEP 1- Draw the Wooden Mannequin from observation, drawing it from numerous views, in a multiple of positions, being aware of the Horizon Line that it exists within.

STEP 2- Repeat  step 1 until you get to a point where you can draw the wooden mannequin from memory and out of your head.

STEP 3- When looking at people from live observation, grab their pose and then draw them as a wooden mannequin, then come back and add detail or props that associate them to the person that they are.
